Debbie was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and arrived in Brisbane as an overseas student. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland and has since then, worked relentlessly as a dentist in private practice. She founded dldental in Alexandra Hills in 1993 and has built the practice into the successful, state of the art, five-surgery practice that it is today. The practice won the prestigious Redland Retail Award in 2013 for the best in the medical field and has been a finalist on numerous other occasions. Debbie has a passion for humanitarian work in developing countries, providing free dental treatment with her team of volunteers. The team have been to Kenya, Laos and the South Pacific Islands. Dldental also has ‘Charity Days’ where its doors are closed to paying patients and the disadvantaged and struggling poor in the Redlands City are welcomed for free treatment. Debbie believes that “it is more blessed to give then to receive”. Debbie’s special interest is cosmetic dentistry. She has given many a greater smile and her rapport with patients makes her a very popular dentist in the community. Debbie loves entertaining, cooking and staying acting with tennis and gym.
